My name is Kim Bourque and I have just recently moved back to New Brunswick, after spending four years in CFB Shilo, Manitoba. I was born and raised in Winnipeg, where I met and married my military husband Steve, in 1983.

I was raised in a Christian home, but it was in my teens that I dedicated my life to the Lord, and took my relationship with Him seriously. The military way of life has taken us from the shores of British Columbia to the beautiful East Coast, and places in between. I've worked as a Teacher Assistant for the past 13 years, both with the New Brunswick School District 17, and Manitoba School Division. Although I have thoroughly enjoyed working with children over the years, I know the Lord has now led me to this ministry, and I am thrilled to be a part of it. We have two sons; Shawn who is married to Susan and currently residing in Moncton, and Ben who is attending College in Fredericton.

I am excited to be a part of God Is Able Ministries, and look forward to witnessing Gods' hand at work in every aspect of this ministry. I'd like to share one of my favorite verses with you from Isaiah 40:29, 'He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might, He increases strength.'
